-Figari-calvi: approximately250 kms so 3H30 by car
-Ile-rousse-calvi: approximately 25 kms so 30 minutes by car
-Porto-Veccchio-calvi: approximatately 220 kms so 3H10 by car
-Ajaccio-calvi: approximately 150 kms so 2H'à by car.
Hitchhiking : like anywhere else it can successful
Motorbike: No particular problem with that transport but mind the speed.
Buses: only on the sea shore roads and destinations, but the numbers of travals are low. cheapest way of transport
Train: Trains From Ajaccio to Bastia via Corte and from Ajaccio to Calvi swine through the greatest landscapes.

Car: because of the narrowness of the roads and the nnumerous bends, do not bet on a speed record in Corsica.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
No visa is required for European citizens to travel to Corsica for a length-time stay of 90 days maximum.
An identity card is sufficient. Over 90 days, a resident card is needed and can be requested at the prefecture of Ajaccio (address: rue du Sergent Casalonga 20 000 Ajaccio). Switzerland, though not a member of the EU, must abide to the same rules.
